This is a state-wide competition designed to showcase the talents of district winners and JAM show participants. These individuals will compete across a wide range of events, showcasing their skills and abilities in a variety of competitions. It’s an opportunity for top performers from each district to come together and demonstrate their excellence on a larger stage.

Description:
A state-wide competition bringing together district champions and JAM show participants to compete in a variety of challenges. This event highlights the best talent from across the state.

 

 

Goal 1: Foster Talent Development:
Provide a platform for district winners and JAM show participants to enhance their skills, gain exposure, and further their growth by competing against top talent from across the state.

 

Goal 2: Promote Community Engagement:
Encourage collaboration and sportsmanship among participants, families, and communities, building a sense of pride and unity while celebrating the achievements of local champions.

 

Goal 3: Elevate Competition Standards:
Set a high bar for excellence by offering a variety of competitive events that challenge participants to push their limits, while showcasing the depth of talent within the state.

 

Plan 1: Organize District Selection & JAM Show Participation 

 

Coordinate with local districts to identify and confirm winners from each area.

Promote participation in the JAM show, ensuring it's inclusive and accessible for all interested individuals.

 

Set clear criteria for competition eligibility and registration. 

 

 

Plan 2:  Prepare Participants for the State-Wide Competition 

 

Provide resources and training sessions to help district winners and JAM show participants prepare for the state-wide competition.

Host local prep events or workshops to refine skills, provide tips, and answer any questions.

 

Ensure participants have all necessary information, including travel arrangements, schedules, and event rules.

 

 

Plan 3: Market, Host, and Evaluate the Event 

Launch a marketing campaign to promote the event across the state (social media, local media, posters, etc.) to generate excitement and audience attendance.

 

On the event day, ensure everything runs smoothly from registration to the closing ceremony keeping participants, families, and spectators engaged.

 

After the event, gather feedback from participants, judges, and spectators to evaluate the experience and identify opportunities for future improvements.

  • Outcome 1: Increased Recognition and Opportunities for Participants

    • Outcome: Participants gain increased visibility and recognition for their talents on a larger stage, leading to potential career or educational opportunities. The competition can serve as a stepping stone for further success in their field, whether that’s in arts, academics, sports, or other areas.

    Outcome 2: Strengthened Community and Network Connections

    • Outcome: By bringing together district winners and JAM show participants, the competition fosters a sense of community among diverse groups from across the state. Participants, families, and mentors will build connections, share experiences, and form networks that can support them long after the event.

    Outcome 3: Elevated Standards and Healthy Competition

    • Outcome: The event promotes a culture of excellence, encouraging participants to push their boundaries and perform at their highest level. The competition provides a platform for individuals to challenge themselves, set new personal goals, and build resilience through healthy competition.
